Dear blog, on 30/5/09 sat,we started our annual red cross training camp.we reported to sch at 6.45am.everyone bring big bag,small bag,all different sizes.than,fall in,in groups.Alpha ggroup is wei woon mdm n Jia Wei sir,followed by the hyper-active girls,melissa n jia qi,the gentel ladies me n yee en,and lastly the loving couple,cassandra n kethneth.then we take tempreture then the esco check our bags.then,we put our things in 2t1 classroom then go and learn how to pitch the tent from jia wei sir,then we pitch our own tent.it was not easy btw Alpha still did it.after that we eat lunch then go for the heritage hike at bukit batok hill.in the hike,we learnn how to escape from the bee hive,then we saw animals on the way such as squirrels,monkey,n saw a very big spider web and bee hive.the journey was long btw we finally reached the top of the hill.yipee!next we learned the improvised method of using the rain coat to make into a stretcher in the wild when there is no stretcher.then we went back to school.after reaching the school, we went for first aid lesson taught by ms vani.then we ate dinner.after dinner,we played water games,though every one was drenched from head to toe,but it was fun!we had a great time.after that ,we went to bathe,bathing need to be fast cos everyone was waiting to bathe so not to keep anyone to wait,bathe fast.after that we had supper then we went to sleep.that nite we slept in the tent although it was warm btw we still slept. 2nd day we woke up at five and prepare to fall in.after changing into our chothes,we went to wake others up.we saw smth we should not see.Ryan sir n Jian Hui sir wasn't wearing the shirt.then we fall in at the field btw cos there was too many ants biting us so we shifted to the parade square.sing the national song,sing not enough loud so sing 3 times.after that we do PT wa tat was tiring btw i lyk it:)first we did stretching,then budah claps 100 time,push up 40 times,sit up 30 times,run the area abt5-6 rounds with pumping,cheers and others.then we lifter our legs for abt 30 min.then eat breakfast.everyday breakfast for 1 group is one loaf of bread wa eat until quite full.Alpha group's flag was confiscated the least time i tink.after that is OA we cook instant noodles using the mass tin.after that got lesson on first aid then evacuation lesson then test evacuation yipee,i passed.After that got foot drill by stephen sir it was fun ,jia you!in the nite,eat dinner then got confident test,not scary one lol,first station is marching,then water game than treasure hunt.After the test then bathe and eat supper then lastly debrief.that night because a lot of people hav rashes sleeping in the tent so we sleep in classroom. third day we woke up then do PT today's PT was easier also shorter cos we need to go to the elder care.when in the bus going to the elder care, we did a lot of cheers.then when we reached we threr,we interact with the elderly i interact with one edler lady which was very old already,she was 1oo years old.some of the elderly was disabled so they need special care.after that at 11.30am was their exercise time so we did the exercise with them after that we served their lunch.mmm the food smelled nice btw some of the elderly said that it was not nice,maybe they eat it often.after that we went back to the sch and eat lunch.after that lunch we had vetting then we prepare for the campfire that night.the camp fire t-shirt was design by kevin sir.then i was busy giving out biscuits as some of them were hungry.when the camp fire started we invited RI,compassvale sec and TKSS to join in with us for the campfire.we started with the lighting of the fire by ms vani n mrs lai. ms vani was nearly scalded by jia wei,mayb he should be more careful.after that we continued with cheers,games,performances.Alpha was the 1 who r cheering after esco.everyone was so high tat nite.after the programme was finished,we had some refreshments.i tink our volumme was too loud tat attracted the policemen to come.after that,kethneh had a stratch on his face,so we help him to put on plaster.after him was yee en she wasn't feeling well and went home.Helping yee en made me and xin jie late so we were rushing here and there.in th middle when we bathe,the lights went out ,xin jie was scared so i comforted her n ask her to bathe quickly n go out to switch on the lights again.after that we fall in.we were late omg.when we reached there,the whole squad was being scolded and punished.stand until our legs tired.finally got supper then cassandra suddenly feel lyk vomiting so i go with her to the toilet.then i give her warm water to drink she still cannot vomit out n still not feeling better so i ask jia wei the he ask me to bring her to rest.btw cassandra wants to go home dun wan to rest makr me run up and down 4 times wa my eyelids want to close already.finally when we take the bed in the red cross room,she agreed to sleep.then i sleep with xin jie,that night sleep at 1 plus whew zzzz. then less then 4 hours wake up tp pack bag then wake the rest up luckily this thime the boys got wear clothes.then do PT, eat breakfast then we arrange the tables and chairs for parents meeting.then mrs lai talk to us abt the progrmmes then jia ying mdm say we very good ,got improvement.alpha got the best dance prize,joey got improvement award,i got most enthusiastic award then jia wei and agnes got best mentor award.after that BREAK camp le.i miss it how i wish the camp was longer.after break camp,i help esco to wash the floor where they put the kerosene n fire wood.then clear the campfire place with jia wei n jia ying mdm.then jia ying mdm n me sleep in the red cross room cos we both got to stay in sch for parents meet then cannot go home.so since so tired so sleep lor.then got parents meet.my msg got 2.5 yipee meet my target.then eat lunch,go home bathe then sleep.then eat dinner.blog then sleep.THREE CHEERS TO ALPHA N MENTOR:)jia you's!!!
